THE JOURNEY

How I got here.

Two decades of enterprise software, most of it spent in the room with large companies trying to work out what a new technology could actually do for them. That work is why I can build what I build now. This page is the record of it, videos included.

THE ARC

Three chapters, one throughline.

CHAPTER ONE
Enterprise software

Twenty years selling and shaping complex software for large organizations. I learned how buying decisions really get made, why good products fail inside big companies, and what has to be true operationally before anyone signs anything.

The unglamorous education that makes everything since possible.

CHAPTER TWO
Conversational AI, in partner sales

Most recently in partner sales for a conversational AI agent platform, working with system integrators and enterprise customers on what production AI agents could genuinely handle: contact center deflection, retail service, and intake.

I made the videos below to explain it, because a demo lands better than a deck.

CHAPTER THREE
Building my own

Now I build and run the products rather than represent someone else's. After Hours AI, AI Executive, Top Rated and Breaking Chains, all live, under Haygood Ideas, Inc.

Same instinct, no longer waiting on anyone else's roadmap.

FROM THE ARCHIVE

The product videos.

These were made during my time in partner sales for Kore.ai's Artemis agent platform. They are kept here as a record of that work. They describe that product, not mine, and they reflect where things stood when they were recorded.

Same customer. Two very different calls.

The same customer reaches traditional support, then an AI agent. One call gets transferred and put on hold. The other resolves in thirty seconds.

AI for retail: every touchpoint, one agent.

One agent handling order status, returns and loyalty across voice and chat, in a single coordinated experience.

Build a working AI agent in minutes.

Going from an empty canvas to an agent that does something real, without a long build cycle in between.

The AI agent interview.

Interviewing an AI agent the way you would interview a candidate for the role, and seeing where it holds up.

The call center that got amplified.

What changes for the people in a contact center when agents take the repetitive volume off their queue.

WHAT I DO NOW

That chapter is closed. Here is the current one.
